The 2nd annual Washington Women in Jazz Festival, Washington’s premiere showcase of regional female jazz musicians, seeks enthusiastic interns for the March 2012 festival. Internships available immediately. Working with WWJF 2012 is a great opportunity for hands-on experience in multiple aspects of music business and promotion, and to gain direct access to work directly with artists, promoters, venues, and festival staff. Hours are flexible, with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week required. Candidates with an interest in communications/writing, social media marketing, street promotion, event planning and performance logistics are encouraged to apply immediately.
